Our mission

Solocal is the local, trusted, digital partner of all companies wishing to accelerate their growth.

Solocal capitalizes on six strategic assets: very high visibility media, powerful data geolocation, scalable technologic platforms, nationwide commercial coverage in France, privileged partnerships with Big Tech*, and countless talents (experts in data, development, digital marketing, etc.).

Its integrated offer lets every company expand its activities and accelerate its growth: most notably, its product offering lets companies build and develop their brand image and digital relationships, create customer loyalty, find new customers, and lets them manage and enhance customer relations. It offers optimal digital presence both on our medias (PagesJaunes and Mappy) and on our partners’ platforms, including Big Tech paltforms.

Digital growth is at the heart of company development, especially for the four million SMEs in France. However, half of these businesses still lack an online presence. Solocal is committed to providing them with a large range of digital products and services, which fit their needs and their own clients’ need. We are also committed to offering a long-term support service through our extensive national network of in-field advisers and digital coaches, available online or over the phone.

Corporate Social Responsibility & Non Financial Performance Statement

Solocal has been committed to a corporate social responsability strategy as soon as 2013.

In 2018, to identify the company’s main non-financial risks, Solocal crossed referenced the materiality analysis it had conducted with its major stakeholders and its risk mapping. This work led to the emergence of eight non-financial issues that are now monitored each year in the group's Non-Financial Performance Statement.

Digital accessibility

In partnership with Urbilog, an expert company in digital accessibility, Solocal committed to a digital accessibility policy for its digital services beyond bare compliance with the Digital Republic Law of October 2016 on the obligation of digital accessibility for companies with a turnover of more than €250 million. Within the Institutional Relations, CSR, Ethics and Risks Department, this policy is led by the Digital Accessibility Advisor appointed in October 2020 in the context of a mission statement from the Managing Director.

Regulatory greenhouse gas emissions balance

In 2019, Solocal SA has completed its regulatory greenhouse gas emissions balance available here for 2018. This assessment shows a decrease in Solocal SA's greenhouse gas emissions of almost 41%, mainly driven by digital transformation and the decrease in the number of printed directories.

Ethics

Solocal and its subsidiaries share 4 essential principles integrated into the company's culture. These principles underpin our approach to working life within the company and in relationships with our stakeholders (customers, users, suppliers, partners, etc.) to build trust.

Solocal's four ethical principles are:

  • Trust
  • Integrity
  • Transparency
  • Respect

The Sapin II law of 9 December 2016 (relating to transparency, the fight against corruption and the modernization of economic life) commits companies, which have at least 500 employees and have a turnover of more than 100 million euros, to implement an anti-corruption compliance program.

Much more than a legal obligation, the fight against corruption but also fraud is a priority for Solocal, which has zero tolerance in this area. To this end, In October 2018, Solocal decided to create the function of Ethics Officer. This function is carried out independently and autonomously, and in close collaboration with all management of the company.

Solocal's ethics and anticorruption program is based in particular on :

  • A Code of Conduct accessible here
  • A whistleblowing system so that everyone can bring up confidentially and outside Solocal's information systems any breach of the Code of Conduct and/or any violation of rights and freedoms, any violations of laws, all serious malfunctions and any violations of the public interest found. This website is accessible at the following address:  solocal-ethique.com
  • A training plan to raise awareness and train all Solocal employees.
  • An Ethics and Sustainable Development Charter accessible here
