PagesJaunes Groupe, the leader in the digital economy and local information and search, is committed to the protection of citizens. The Group’s Internet sites provide day-to-day support for citizens, who appreciate the relevance and accuracy of the information provided. In this context, the protection of collected data forms an integral part of the Group’s active commitments.

Personal data

The Group ensures that it respects Internet users’ right to privacy, in accordance with Law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on Data Processing and Individual Liberties amended by the Law of 6 August 2006, by guaranteeing their anonymity and not retaining details of their searches and the documents they have viewed. It takes all reasonable precautions to guarantee the security and integrity of the personal data entrusted to it by its customers, advertisers, users and employees. The Group’s commitments are set out in its Charter on the protection of personal data of users of its Internet sites and online services.

Detailed information on the conditions governing the use of data and the rights of individuals (access and correction) is provided by each Internet site associated with the Group’s services.

Authentification

The Group promotes contact between users of its media and businesses. This intermediation prior to the commercial transaction provides citizens with information on ways to increase the security of their exchanges. PagesJaunes Groupe has therefore given a commitment by signing the Charter for the promotion of authentication on the Internet.
